About Us allé Fine Jewelry was founded in 1996 by a husband and wife team of Home Shopping Network and Mercantile Stores Company executives who brought 25 years of retailing and jewelry merchandising expertise to the Internet. allé Fine Jewelry has been a true frontrunner in the online space by being the first large, completely dedicated jewelry store on AOL, CompuServe and MSN in the mid-90’s. allé pioneered the "manufacturer direct" business model in the jewelry category and has evolved into a voice of authority on jewelry trends and care of fine jewels. Our success has been leveraging our years of relationships with some of the largest and finest jewelry manufacturers in the world, which enabled us to form strong alliances with these manufacturers. This sets up for direct shipment to our customers with direct order fulfillment of the highest quality fine jewelry available. These alliances mean that we have access to the inventories of these manufacturers which in turn means that we can offer you an enormous selection of fine jewelry that is constantly being updated with the latest styles. Sherri is our President and Chief Gemologist. After many years at Home Shopping Network, Sherri and her Husband/Partner, Dick decided to strike out on their own and create an online jewelry store, which catered to the more private and discriminating of tastes. Sherri’s primary focus is working with the manufacturing partners and keeping up to date with the trends and directions of the jewelry industry. Sherri is also our resident expert as it relates to colored gemstones and non-traditional, semi-precious and precious stone items such as chocolate pearls and pink diamonds. Sherri is pictured here wearing her personal favorite matching set, the Emerald “Dynasty Collection,” which is exclusive to allé. No matter where she goes it always gets her noticed! Emeralds are one of the most beautiful gemstones in our collection.
Jorell is one of allè’s marketing managers and merchandisers. Jorell describes herself as a total “jewelry freak” and has been a part of the alle family for several years. Jorell was a marketing and office manager for a large marina and a law office and gravitated towards e-commerce surrounded by gorgeous jewelry and accessories after discovering that “dealing with boats and lawyers was getting a little boring.” Jorell is often seen studying the latest search engine marketing articles and online marketing trends and is always bringing the latest gossip magazine to the office to study the celebrities and their jewelry. (We think she just wants to be “in” the magazines!!) Jorell is pictured here wearing her favorite diamond and gold watch and diamond ring that she thinks is “young but sophisticated looking.” Her youthful style has her mixing and matching yellow and white gold to match outfits and moods.
Jurate (pronounced YUR-ah-té ) is one of our ace photographers and the artist behind many of the marketing emails and web graphics you see. Jurate brings a strong international and European flair to our office and lots of “grace under pressure” to our workflow. The incredible photographs and high quality images you see on our website are probably the work of Jurate and her team. Jurate is known around the office for being “the first one in and the last to leave” each workday. (We think she secretly keeps a sleeping bag in the studio!) Jurate is pictured in her favorite “Chocolate” pearls that she “cannot live without.” (We feel the same way about her!)
Darby is pictured here wearing the exclusive 18K Cobblestone Multi Gemstone & Diamond Necklace as a Collar - from the designer Palermo. At a dazzling 50.95 Total Carat Weight; Darby is truly our “Golden Girl” around the office in this sophisticated piece! Included in nearly every meeting, our Vice President of Barketing helps us “chew on” promotional ideas and influences our optimistic forecasts with a wag of her tail.
